We should never underestimate the power of oneself to help cure social ills and to support those in need. A group of people can encourage and support each other.

A School is an ideal group for helping people in either local community or the global community. The role of education should enable children to develop empathy for others and to encourage them to gain the ability to help those who are less fortunate than themselves.

When young people are enthusiastic and take interest their enthusiasm can spread to less motivated people in their community.

Encouraging the younger generation to take part in community events and charity it will help develop organizational skills and practice teamwork.

Muslim Hands have developed a Project called “Learn2Warm”. This Project is aimed at encouraging the younger generation to focus on helping others. The idea was to start by instilling helping and caring for others in the minds of the youth, this idea was presented in a simple and formulated approach by organizing a clothing drive at different schools throughout Cape Town.

The “Learn2Warm” campaign has been very successful and many children and teenagers have volunteered to help those less fortunate. We hope to expand this initiative so that it may reach greater heights in the future.

We are all part of one world. Let us start rebuilding our communities by helping one person at a time.

Let us learn to inspire others.
