When i walk along the way, the people just stare at me in dismay.

They think that i am forced to wear “that thing” but i actually wear it for Allah “THE KING”

Maybe they think im not free, just because i wear a head scarf on me, but thats not true, I am really free i wear it for Allah, the ALMIGHTY.

The way we dress is not to show some skin, but for people to judge us not by our body, but from within, they might call me names or even start to stare, but what keeps me going is knowing Allah is there,so when you pass me walking down the street, dont think that i am forced to cover myself up to my feet, its a simple way to be modest and humble,

So dont be next to me and start to grumble, i feel proud and tall when i wear my Hijaab. because i have nothing to expose, Now you could only judge my character and my personality and not how i dress myself, but for my morality. So this scard that i have on , ITS MY CHOICE so dont be alarmed, i feel right and true when i put my HIJAAB on from the start, its because it calmed me, purified me and soothed my heart, but really the only difference between you and me is that i cover my hair and body, so if any of you see me and hear my voice, just know what i wear is ONLY MY CHOICE,

Asalaam, i had a Facebook conversation with another muslim brother, My cousin who resides in Perth Western Australia, the discussion was about women playing soccer, there was an article about FIFA banning the iranian women soccer team from playing soccer in Hijaab, many would agree or disagree, but i agreed that they should not be allowed to play due to islamic reasons, this is a very broad topic, but below are some things that were discussed and perhaps this would help other Muslim women and men who need more clarity on such situations.

Fadia Bint Ismail Jordan to raise hijab with Fifa – Soccer

Fadia Bint Ismail:  Should Muslim women be allowed to play football? can someone pls answer this, because are muslim women not suppose to be in the spotlight of other males. even if they played with their HIJAAB on.

Rhiyaad:  Not meant to be in the spotlight of other males? Where did you hear this?

Fadia Bint Ismail: Hey cuz…im wondering if it is permissable for them to play in fifa even if they are wearing hijaab, but other males and so forth will b watching them,. it will bring attention to themselves,..is it not? and even if they are wearing tracksuite pants and scarf, their figure will still b showing, and we no its not suppose to show,..and now so many non mahrams will b watching them…

Rhiyaad: I think perhaps you should first find a basis for the fact that women should not bring attention to themselves from the Quran and then the Sunnah. Not from an Imaam or an Imaam’s opinion.

Fadia Bint Ismail: Dont worry ill find it for you. there are certain ways women should conduct themselves in islam…will get back to u on this.

Rhiyaad: If Sitina Aisha (RAN) could lead men into war – and command men in battle – why could she not participate in a soccer game?   at

Fadia Bint Ismail: I never said women cant play soccer. im curious as to why they would not allow them to play. this is a broad topic. so all points will b fully accepted, to gain a better understanding.

Rhiyaad: that’s my point. why can a woman lead men, multiple men, into war… yet, she cannot play soccer in hijab to be seen by men, multiple men?

Fadia Bint Ismail: u cnt compare war with soccer. war is about right and wrong, life and death, watching women running after balls is a diff thing, thats entertainment. but this topin is to be continued for the moment, will pick it up after tomz when im done with exams.

Fadia Bint Ismail: Men and women are alike in need of sport and exercise, physical fitness is encouraged in Islam, but the physical restrictions on women participating in sport or physical activity is more than that of men,. It is important that no males should be watching and this is where modesty comes in because sports and exercise should be judged according to the levels of modesty. If the sport is done for innocent reasons, then it would be okay, playing sports in islam is permissable after considering the reasons for playing. the Nabi (SAW) permitted three types of playing 1) playing with ones wife, for example when Aisha (R.A) was on a journey with the prophet (SAW) she had a race with him an outpaced him. 2) Archery 3) Riding a horse. so to end it off, i think that if the physical training-as soccer is done for something that would involve Jihad, attack or retreat, or to ward off chronic illnesses then it will be permissable, but in this case i dont think it is permissable 1) its entertainment 2) even if they wearing hijaab males will still be watching them, and u should look at the modesty level of such a sport. so when Aisha(RA) lead men in war, that was done for a reason and not for entertainment.

Rhiyaad: The world cup is not for entertainment – it represents the height of the competitive spirit, skills and inspires people from all over the world. Its not mere entertainment. In addition, those sunnah sports listed are sunnahs for different reasons, not just literal. Research further into that.

Fadia Bint Ismail:  If u want more reasons i will give u. im not against sport or women playing it..but you need to realise this topic is very broad. but inshallah, we all need a bit more understanding, so in meantime il do my reading, and if you have anything do enlighten me.

Rhiyaad: I don’t think you’ve based your reasons on anything. I don’t see any rationale / logical reasons as why women should not participate in sport. Its silly to disallow it. Should we not therefore disallow men because women may ‘cop’ a perve at them? Why is a man’s sport not regarded as entertainment?

Fadia Bint Ismail: First of all lets talk about all sport in general. for men and women, for example men are not suppose to play feminine sports and vice versa, females are not suppose to play masculine sports. both males and females have an Awrah, which you are well aware of what it is but that said. In todays modern times, exposure of the body parts go against Shariah. The holy Prophet (SAW) said for every religion of the world their is a distinctive morality and the distinctive morality of Islam is Modesty. It is not said that sports is not alllowed, but there are distinctions between males and females. and yes a female may cop a perve, and vice versa but then thats her sin for not lowering her gaze. All sport is regarded as entertainement not just sports that males play. entertainment is allowed, even in the prophet(SAW) time, they would do things for amusement, but in moderation, you should not immerse yourself in things that will distract you from deen. And you have to admit also, people go crazy about sports, they no all the sport teams, players, celebs ect..but do they know about the life and the stories of the Sahabah. well Inshallah i hope they do hey. I personally love sport, in moderation, but there is a certain modest way to do it, according to shariah. there are other factors, but we wont get into detail with that. And no one is disallowing sport..as i said before physical fitness is encouraged in islam “but in the correct ways”

Abdul B: – women should not so much as stamp their feet to draw attention to themselves
also, u will find scholars speaking out against even men who play sports such as soccer and leave parts of their legs (above the knee) exposed
personally, i love playing sport – but like fadia said, there should always be moderation.

1) When your Hijaab is see through

2)When its half on your head and half not

3)When its on, but your fringe is showing

4)When your covered, but your ears are showing

5)When your Hijaab is on, but your wearing Skin Tight clothes

6)When you think Hijaab is just the covering of the hair.

THESE ARE FACTORS THAT ARE CERTAINLY NOT HIJAABI

I CAME ACROSS THIS, ( AN OPINION OF A YOUNG LADY )

I am not yet convinced (of the necessity) of hijab. I am convinced about the Islamic dress code, but my mother prevents me from wearing it and if I disobey her, I will go to Hell. My position does not allow me to substitute my dress for Islamic dress. It is very hot in my country, and I can not stand it. How could I bear the heat if I wore the hijab? I am afraid that if I wear the hijab, I will take it off at some future time because I have seen so many others do this! If I wear the hijab then nobody will marry me, so I am going to leave it off until then. I do not wear hijab based on what Almighty Allah says, (And proclaim the grace of your Lord) (Ad-Duha 93:11), so how can I cover what Allah the Almighty has blessed me with? I know that hijab is obligatory (wajib), but I will wear it when Almighty Allah guides me to do so. It is not time for that yet. I am still too young to wear hijab. I will do it when I get older, and after I go on Hajj! I am afraid that if I wear Islamic clothing, I will be labeled as belonging to some group or another.

Dear Sister Muslimah

Asslaamu Alaaikum warehmtulaahi Wabarkathu…

This lusty-love bug. I wish I could save all my sisters from it. It is spoiling their Deen and Duniya.

Where ever I look I see my sisters crying and sinking in deep depression just because some xyz person has left them. They miss that xyz day and night… they miss that sin, those sinful days day and night. They want him back. .

They don’t realize that Allah (SWT) loves them more than him. They don’t realize that Allah (SWT) wants to make their Dunya and Deen better. They are so blind in this love that they don’t see Allah has something better for them, rather he has best. And to heal their wounds, they listen to all sad songs, which further make the wounds deeper. . They are seeing, the break ups happening all around, but still each one that feels and thinks that they are LUCKY and EXCEPTIONAL. 99.9% percent of these Haram Relations are fail, and each one them thinks that they belong to that 0.5%. Sisters, it is the Ibless, which makes this relation beautiful for you. It adds all those elements love and romance. (I seek refuge in Allah).

start loving your Family and you’re Female Friends.

You want to love someone? Love Them

You want to serve someone? Serve Them

You want to hug someone? Hug Them

You want to kiss someone? Kiss Them

You want to be romantic? Be Romantic with your mom, sister and cousin sister. (Well I am NOT asking you to be a lesbian

You feel lonely at night? Remember Allah; ask your mom or sister to sleep with you. Hug her and have a good night sleep.

Have patience, and don’t sell yourself, your modesty to such guys, for a few gifts or compliments.
